GRETA was pleased to bring tennis to the kids participating in The Out of the Garden Project Summer Feeding Enrichment Center Program this summer. Over 35 kids were introduced to the game of tennis and at the end of the week each went home with a tennis racquet and balls to continue playing the game.
The Out of the Garden Project supports school students and their families with food assistance on weekends when free/reduced school meals are unavailable. In just four years the OOTGP has grown to the largest organization of its kind in the Triad, providing more than 1250 bags of food each weekend distributed to nearly half of the 124 schools in Guilford County.
